Seventh Grade Technology

This year I learned a lot from Mrs. Debolt. She is such a great leader and an amazing teacher. I loved the projects she made up where we had to go on a scavenger hunt with our group. I also loved making the art on excel. I really don't dislike anything about this class. I have learned how to type faster and more accurately and how to follow the processes that come with everything. I wish more teachers would let us learn how Mrs. DeBolt does. This class has taught me more than I have from any other teacher in technology. I love the way we learn and the things we do to learn. Mrs. DeBolt is such an amazing teacher.

Going to Michigan

I am leaving for Michigan on Wednesday morning. I am really esxcite dabout going to Michigan, but sad because I have to miss the last day of school. So I have to say goodbye to my teachers on Tuesday. My aunt and uncle own a house on Beaver Island. They live right on the beach, so it will be lots of fun. My two cousins, Campbell and Levi, are 14 and 11. Catheryn, Campbell, Levi, and I are all very close in age. This helps us get along and have things in common. It makes things a lot easier if you are staying with someone for a week if you get along. Being in Michigan with my family will be fun, but I'm sure I'll miss my parents because they aren't coming with us. As soon as we get back, I will go to summer school and help Crystal Morelan, so Michigan will probably be my free time for about 2 months.

Santa and His Sad Day

Santa was having a long day at the mall listening to the children. He had already gotten his hair. hat, boots, ears, and nose pulled! He didn't know how rude little kids could be, but he knows why the children are acting this way. They don't believe in Santa anymore. They think he is fake and just a guy dressed up in a suit. Little do they know that he is the real Santa and he is putting them all on the naughty list... except one little girl named Catheryn. Catheryn was the only little girl who treated Santa and the others respectfully. She didn't think Santa was fake like all the other kids. Santa was her best friend and one day she would become one of his little elves, but he was still having the worst day ever. He went outside after climbing tons of stairs, so he could just sit and think.

Worth Knowing

Teachers should teach us something that is worth knowing at school. Learning about the same things every singe day is very boring. I feel that we should have a class on business or how we have to be when we grow up to where we have to work, buy our own things, and use our own money. We should also learn about raising kids, animals, and most of all how to take care of our families when we get older. We need to know these things so we won't be so confused about it when we learn about growing up in high school. Focusing on what will go on in the future is extremely important and it gets you ready for challenges in life. All children have to be ready for what is coming up next and what they should look out for. I would love to be in a class teaching me all of these cool things. I would learn how to spend money, take care of living things, and be there for my family and myself 24/7.

Opening a Door to Hogwarts

If I would be standing infront of seven identical doors and someone told me I could go to Hogwarts, Wonderland, Neverland, Narnia, Camelot, Middle Earth, and Westeros, I would choose to go to Hogwarts. If I went to Hogwarts I would get to see all of the people that are in the books and movies. I would also get to do magic just like all of th eother people there. This would be really fun because of the spells you can do and the people you can meet. Exploring a new land might show me how different people see that place. Everyone would be confused on why I would be at Hogwarts because I am obviously not a wizard.

Rainy Days

I love the sound of thunder and lightning, but I hate the rain that comes with it. The sounds of thunder makes me fall asleep, but I don't really know why. The sounds of lightning are really cool too. The rain is really disgusting. It makes everything wet and droopy. While it was pouring down rain this morning, everyone was walking in to school soaking wet. As soon as my friend got out of the car, she was completely soaked. The rain makes me really gloomy becasue the sun isnt out and shining. I get through the day pretty well though. Rain doesn't exactly bother me. It just makes me feel out of wack.

A Photo's Story

I thought of Ms. Spavale's class when I saw this photo. It mad eme think of measuring our fabric for our pillows, making our pillows, and measuring thread. Ms. Spavale made our class really fun and I wish I still had her as a teacher. The name of the class was FACS. FACS stands for Family And Consumer Science. In this class we did many things. WE cooked, sewed, took easy tests, and had a blast. If I had to choose out of the two things we did, I would choose cooking. Ms. Spavale made me love cooking even more than I already did. Cooking is really fun and so is sewing. You get to learn many things that will help you in life as you grow up just from FACS class.

This Weekend

After school, on friday, I am going to my best friends house. Her name is Maddy Wiskirchen. We are going to hang out and watch movies with Brennan Pryor and Matt Frana because they live in our subdivision too. Then, we are goign to go to a basebell game all day on Saturday for Maddy's brother Tyler. We won't go if Lydia Dean has her party though. But if she doesnt, we will go to the game on Saturday and game on Sunday. It makes more sense to go to the game though because my cousin is also on the team and my uncle helps coach. I hope we get to go to the game because I really want to see my family and hang out with Maddy Wiskirchen. I feel really comfortable spending so much time with her family because they are basicially my family too.

A Saved Memory

If I could save any memory it would be my fifth birthday. I chose this memory because we were still living in the house I was living in until I was about 11. I miss my old house a lot. I would also save this memory because that is when I would be going to kindergatren and starting school and that is very important to me. I would probably open up this memory once a year jsut so I could get a surpirse and special memory from when I was younger. As I would uncork the bottle with my memory, I would have the best expression on my face than I would have had all year.

This year's volleyball team was very competitive. We loved to win and have fun while doing it. In my eyes, the best player was Carley Nicholson, but Baylee Cook had a really good serve. Our coach was Ms. Dawson. She is an eighth grade math teacher too. She was a really great coach and she always kept us on track with what we were supposed to be doing. She loved us all equally adn we loved her too. One game we had was dedicated to Dawson. Dawson was Coach's grandson who passed away from cancer a year before. He was extremely special to Coach Dawson and us too. Even though we didn't know him as well as she did, we still acted like we had known him from the very beginning.



Technology Through Time

In the pictures there is one main difference. The difference is technology. Technology has changed people and ways of learning through time. It has made good changes and bad changes. The good changes would probably be having more resources, but the bad change would probably be not using books or libraries anymore. I think this is a huge change for people and for the environment. It isn't that technology is bad though.

I have many things that I love to do. I like to play sports, but mainly volleyball. I have always loved to sing ever since I was little too. I play piano, a little bit of guitar, and I sing all of the time. I also love to watch basketball and baseball with my friends and family. To me, doing things I love is very important.

Spening time with my friends is usually all I do on the weekends. Most of my best friends live in my subdivision like Maddy Wiskirchen, Payton Faulkner, and Brennan Pryor. Most of us like to go to the movies or have sleepovers at each others houses. I love playing outside, so we go running sometimes. It is usually very fun, but sometimes we get in arguements. Although, we always make up.

I have been in computer class for eight years now. I enjoy it very much. I love to type and play computer games. I play on the computer at home too. My mom always tells me that I'm on way too much, but I dont really care. Computers is one of my favorite classes.

Last Day

I had fun in this class for this quarter. I learned a lot, but its so sad that I have to leave. My most favorite thing about this class are the blogs we get to make. I also like the projects, and how they have steps to ho with it. the only thing I didn't like about this class is writing compound sentences. That is mostly the only thing I didn't like about this class. I cant wait until next year. When we get to do funner and bigger things. I'm glad I had Mrs.Debolt for technology. She taught me a lot. Exspecially to follow steps. I just hope next year was as fun as this year. Because then I will have a blast once again. This was my last blog, so goodbye.

Final Free Blog

Today is the last day I will write my free blog, but I don't know what to talk about. I have talk about everything i could think of. I talked food, fashion, love, etc. So this is my last free blog ,and I don't know what to say, but that i had a lot of fun writing blogs to you people. One thing I can talk about is that I got an A on my book report in my writing class. The book was called "Magic Can be Murder". It was a great book you can say, but I really didn't understand it. I think other people would better than I did because it took me forever to read the book. I don't really read big book. Well look there I did have something to talk about.

Sad Weekend

This weekend is going to be a sad weekend for me. I have to go to a funeral. My mom's aunt Marry died, and I have to go to the funeral with her. I have to miss a lot when I'm gone. I have to miss my school dance. That they had to rescheduled. I also am going to miss out on some school work because my school works fast. So I'm going to ask for all my work for today that I would had to do on Friday. I'm mostly might be working on homework on the weekend. The only good thing is that I get to wear my fancy clothes, and miss school

Where Would You Go?

If I was in front of seven identical doors that led to Narnia, Neverland, Wonderland, Hogwarts, Camelot, Middle Earth, and Westeros. I would go to Hogwarts I would go there because i would be a witch. I could be able to cast spells, and learn them too. I would also learn about magical creatures that don't even exist in the real world. If I was in quitige I would be able to fly a broom. In the movies when its dinner time the food will just appear to you. The food always look great on the movies, so I would like to try it.  Since I'm brave and all that. I might be able to do fun thing. If I'm lucky I might get to meet Harry Potter.

Who Did It?

A few weeks ago some robbers broke into my house. They stole everything besides my huge chocolate bar. I don't know why the robbers wouldn't steal it. Everybody loves chocolate, the police say its not a clue. On the other hand I do think its a clue. I think its a clue because I had this friend long ago who didn't like chocolate. She was always jealous of the things I had. Sometime when we were little kids she would steal from me, and when I found out we became no longer friends. I told the police the information and they caught her.

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Love is in the air people are giving each other flowers and chocolates. Valentine's Day can be great if you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, but for me I'm just sticking with my friends. Because to me Valentine's Day doesn't mean love to me. What it means to me is loving one another. Some times it brings me down that I dint have a Valentines, but I can always depend on my friends to give me something to cheer me up. Today all I'm doing is handing out Hershey Kisses. I have been doing that for a week and i also gave chocolate roses to my teachers,and my principle. I'm going to make something for my mom today because she says she never gets anything for Valentine's Day. I gave her a rose a week ago. Well have a great Valentine's Day everyone.

Spreading Love

Today I'm going to give all my guy friends chocolate Hershey kisses. You know because it is almost  Valentines Day. I have been giving out chocolates since last week of Friday. People have been coming up to me asking me if they could have some. Its just I'm so nice and February is like probably my favorite month. I might not get my own valentines, but there are other people who don't either. So I spread love all around.

Love

The day February 14 is the day I hate the most. It's all about love some people are single and some are couples. On the 22 we have a valentines dance which is not ok most of us single girls know no boy is going to ask us to the dance. So we have to girl up and ask them, but girls are afraid to get rejected. So they either have one of their friends ask the person for them, or they just go with their friends. Guys just wait till girls ask them to go to the dance, but they wont look so cool when they show up with out a date. So they just go with friends. I'm thinking of asking this one gut to the dance because we danced at the last dance together or I might go with friends I guess will have to see.

Popularity At School

Popularity at school there are lots of sections at schools. You have your popular people. In my school they are the athletic people. You also have the nerds, in my school they are not really nerds their just kids who don't like sports I guess. Or they are just kids who talk about video games. At my school there are a lot of sections. Where I am is the normal group I would say its just I like to  hang with my true friends. I could be popular if I wanted its just I can't stand those prepey girls.

Memory Bottle

If somebody invented a bottle to collect memories I would buy it. The memory I would bottle up is when is when I met my brother Delbie. He is not my mother's child ,but he is my dad's child. When we first met I was only five years old, and he was about six. He is only a few months older than me. when my dad took me to go see my brother, Delbie, we where shy at first, but then our dad took us to the park to play. We both liked the same games, so it was a great time. Its been a long time since I last seen Delbie. Maybe I will ask if I can see him this summer.

Fashion

Fashion, do you have it or not? Most people in my school don't have fashion they think they do, but they don't. When I see people who don't match I'm thinking in my head how I could make their outfit look better. Don't even get me started on girls makeup WOW some girls don't wear the right eyeshadow it doesn't even match their outfit. I always dreamed about being a fashion police it would help a lot of people. The guys stick what they are about if they are athletic they wear athletic clothes thats just how it is. Most teachers just wear what they want others look professional I just don't say anything because I might get a lunch dentition.

Is It Fair?

We have school off for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but not for Veteran's Day. What is up with that the district thinks its better for kids to learn about veterans than MLK. I'm not saying we should have school on MLK, but I think people should know why we are not having school on his birthday. Yong children don't even know who he is, so they don't understand. I think teachers should tell us about MLK like a week before MLK day, and tell us what he did for our country. Because we all have a dream and that is mine. To let people know why we are out of school for his birthday.

Are you eating to much calories? You should ingest about 2,000 calories a day. The top winner for Xtreame Eating Awards is the Cheesecake Factory's Bistro Shrimp Pasta which has 3,120 calories. Now I don't think people should be eating so much calories like that. Other entrees that entered their food had about 1,700 calories to 3,120 calories. Food

Today I'm going to talk about food . Food is great as we all know food is one of our resource we need to survive. My favorite kind of food is fries from McDonald, but I wouldn't eat them all the time or I would be fat. My favorite healthy food is a salad with croutons, boiled eggs,and bacon bits etc. I wonder what is the most favorite kind if food there is.

I am so glad to be in your class this quarter. Some of my friends told me your great and a little bit of people told me your not so great. Maybe because they weren't such a good class well I hope we are a good class for you. There is just one thing I don't like about your class and that is not being able to look at our keyboard,but every thing else is just fine.

I wanted to tell you some things about myself for the future. The first thing is I like to talk a
lot, but when it's time to work I shut my mouth and get to business. As you can see our whole class stops talking and gets to work. Most teachers like classes that get to work and I think You are that kind of teacher.

There are some thing that I know about computers and that is you always have to keep your fingers on home row. I also want to learn some things too. I want to learn how to not look at the keyboard when I'm typing. So I have the whole quarter to learn.

There was this young girl who was playing outside. She was in her back yard and she saw something moving in the bushes,so she went to go look what it was . She searched the back of the bushes and found a mirror. She look into the mirror and saw her beautiful reaflection then her reaflection started to swirl. She saw a older lady and realize it was her,but in the future and to her she look happy, so she went back to what she was doing and went inside.

Today is game day for me I'm on the FMS Girls basketball team . Today we have a game against Grandview. And so do the boys ,but they are having their game at home and we are away. After the bell rings we get our stuff and go to the MPR then a second will ring. Then us girls will go the cafeteria. Then we will wait till 3:45 and go to Granview so wish us luck.
